In those cases, trust your judgment rather than the calculation. In any individual email, the machine learning can arrive at answers that do not make sense. Additionally, Boomerang's read receipts are a bit different than those of other email clients in that they do not require any action on the part of the recipient, if the reader doesn't opt-out then a receipt is given. I'll definitely pass along your suggestion to the team about a basic app.Read receipts are different from traditional click and open tracking in that a recipient can opt-out of providing the data to the sender. This was not an easy choice for us, but we ultimately felt that this was in the best interest of the app. We're also disappointed to see you go, but we understand. I just wanted one that worked well, and had a good lay out! And it does! And, no, I’m not whining about having to pay now - I’m just extremely disappointed! Because honestly, I don’t use fancy features. I sincerely hope they create a version without all the extra features one day. I’m sure the yearly is a ‘better deal’, but most of us don’t have nearly $200 just laying around for an app that loads your emails - even if it does it very well. I am sure there are people who can and will pay that, but darn it…I just can’t. But, sadly, $20 per month, is an exorbitant amount. I am thankful they worked so hard to make such a wonderful email app that works seamlessly, and doesn’t crash. I cannot tell you how many email apps I have used over the years, and finding this one was a breath of fresh air. I would have no problem paying for this app, but 20$ a month is a no go for me. What good is having the bells and whistles if it cannot do the basic things you need it to do. There are no settings to control the frequency in which the app fetches. Believe me, I’ve toyed with all the notification settings both on the app and on my phone to make sure that everything is turned on. A lot of the time I’d have to go into the app to refresh before discovering that I’ve missed several messages. It’s good to look at but I’ve struggled with basic functions like: receiving my emails in a timely fashion or getting notified when said email finally comes in.
